Climate Action Alert

Labor's Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme not going to cut it.

MMETING WITH WARREN SNOWDON MHR re CPRS Friday 27 March 2.30pm

The Climate Action Group is very disappointed with the Rudd Government's proposed Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme (CPRS) and emission reduction targets given how strongly the government committed to strong action when elected. We are concerned that the current design of the CPRS is badly flawed.

The Climate Action Group has made an appointment to speak with our elected representative, Warren Snowdon MHR on 27th March at 2.30 pm.

This meeting is part of a national day of protest about the CPRS.

We wish to provide an opportunity for anyone concerned about the CPRS to meet with Warren to send a message to government about the strength of feeling of local residents and businesses. Hopefully the legislation can be improved upon before it is passed.
